Great visit to Warmfield near Wakefield yesterday - so many stories in this haven of peace
3Engineer William Fairbairn was Commissioned by the Fielden Brothers to design a new mill at Lumbutts. Todmorden. The tower was built between 1828-30 to house first two, and then three overshot water wheels, one above the other. Each wheel was 6 feet wide and 31 feet in diameter.
